Sono sicura che quest'anno Babbo Natale non mi porterà proprio nulla perché sono stata molto cattiva...manco troppo dal blog! Mi dispiace tantissimo ma conciliare tutti gli impegni quotidiani è davvero un'impresa ardua...anyway, volevo parlarvi da taaaaaanto tempo di questa palette che ho acquistato la scorsa estate e che quindi ho avuto modo di testare a lungo. Si tratta della bellissima Cocoa Blend di Zoeva.
Quando ho visto la selezione di colori me ne sono subito innamorata e nonostante io abbia già palette di ombretti per i prossimi 20 anni circa non ho saputo resistere e l'ho acquistata.

Recensione: Trovo che la selezione di colori di questa palette sia perfetta. Ci sono i mat per un trucco basic e per la piega dell'occhio e i colori shimmer sono tutti molto versatili. Mi piace la combinazione di colori caldi e freddi che permettono di creare look molto originali. Sui colori, sul packaging e su come è stata studiata non ho nulla da dire, purtroppo però secondo me gli ombretti sono poco pigmentati. Per ottenere gli swatches che vedete nelle foto ho dovuto fare varie passate. Il panna mat sul braccio non si vede quasi, però devo dire che al contrario sull'occhio sono proprio i colori mat quelli che risultano essere più scriventi. Per quanto riguarda gli shimmer mi sono ritrovata ad utilizzare spesso Pure Ganache e Delicate Acidity, perché hanno una pigmentazione più intensa e sono colori bellissimi. Il verde/nero brillantinato (Infusion) va messo con una buona base polverosa sotto (va benissimo Bitter Start), altrimenti l'effetto panda a chiazze è assicurato. Gli altri colori shimmer ahimé, seppur molto belli, non hanno una bella resa sull'occhio. I think that the colors selection is perfect. There are mats for a basic make up and for the crease and shimmer colors are very versatile. I like the combination of warm and cool tones that allows you to create very original looks. So, for colors, packaging and on how this palette has been conceived I have nothing to say: beautiful. Unfortunately, eyeshadows are not so pigmented. To obtain the swatches you see in pictures I had to insist a lot. The mat light pink on my arm is almost undetectable, but on the contrary, I have to say that on my lids the mat colors are the ones with the best pigmentation. For what concerns shimmer ones I often used Pure Ganache and Delicate Acidity because you don't have to insist a lot to obtain a good amount of color and they are beautiful colors, especially for my blue eyes. You have to be careful with Infusion because it's not smooth and as it is a dark color you risk the "panda effect". The other colors, even if beautiful, are not so vibrant. Here below there's a video in which I tested this palette for the first time and the first impressions remain the same now:
Nonostante ciò, per essere una palette dal costo medio non è così terribile, anche se da Zoeva sinceramente mi sarei aspettata di più. Continuo comunque ad utilizzarla con piacere per i make up quotidiani, da ufficio o da tempo libero. Non la sceglierei per un look più importante o per occasioni speciali.
Despite this, as its price is not so high, it's not a completely bad palette, even if I was expecting more from Zoeva. I keep using it gladly for everyday make up, for spare time or for office. I wouldn't choose it for a more dramatic look or for a special occasion.
