recently I posted a pic on Instagram like the one you see here below because this trio of products has stolen my heart! They became part of my routine since more than two months and I saw great results on my skin. The brand I'm writing about is Alpha H, an Australian brand which you can easily find on Cult Beauty or Space NK.

recentemente ho postato una foto su Instagram come quella che vedete qui sotto perché questo trio di prodotti mi sta piacendo tantissimo! Sto usando questa routine di skincare da più di due mesi e ho visto ottimi risultati sulla pelle, quindi dovevo assolutamente parlarvene! Si tratta di tre prodotti di Alpha H, un brand australiano che potete reperire su QVC o su alcuni siti inglesi come Cult Beauty o Space NK.
Il brand è specializzato in skincare concentrata per risultati antietà e antiacne. La fondatrice stessa, Michelle Doherty, soffriva di acne severa e ha quindi cercato di creare una linea di skincare che fosse molto concentrata ed efficace, ma che durasse nel tempo, a differenza di molti altri brand.
This brand is specialized in concentrated skincare for antiageing and antiacne results. The founder, Michelle Doherty, suffered form severe acne so she tried to create a skincare range that was effective and concentrated, but that lasted even after stopping using it.
La routine che sto seguendo parte la sera con il Balancing Cleanser all'Aloe vera (€ 19,70 per 200ml su QVC), un detergente cremoso molto delicato e nutriente che porta via le impurità senza però seccare la pelle. Contiene Aloe vera e vitamina E, per cui riequilibra, rivitalizza e nutre allo stesso tempo. Io lo utilizzo dopo essermi struccata con l'acqua micellare per togliere gli ultimi residui di trucco e lo sciacquo con un panno caldo bagnato. La consistenza è quella di un latte detergente ma molto più leggero, non fa schiuma ma soltanto una bella crema. Mi sto trovando benissimo, la mia pelle a tendenza acneica ma mista e sensibile apprezza tantissimo questo prodotto che mi lascia il viso morbido, idratato e compatto. Dato che quella che possiedo è una travel size non vedo l'ora di acquistare la full size.
The routine I'm following starts at night with the Balancing Cleanser (€ 19,70 200ml), a very creamy, delicate and nourishing cleanser which takes away impurities without stripping the skin. It contains aloe and vitamin E, so it balances, revitalizes and nourishes at the same time. I use it after my micellar water to take off all the residues of make up and I wash it away with a hot cloth. The consistency is like a cleansing milk but lighter and it doesn't foam. My acne prone, combination and sensitive skin is loving this product. I will definitely buy the full size because at the moment I have a travel set.
A sere alterne, dopo la detersione, applico il Liquid Gold (€ 24,80 per 100ml su QVC), una lozione a base di acido glicolico, proteine della seta ed estratto di liquirizia, la cui azione è quella di favorire il rinnovamento cellulare e quindi donare luminosità e levigatezza alla pelle. Questo secondo me è il prodotto TOP di gamma. E' un prodotto molto particolare, si presenta come un tonico, va messo su un dischetto di cotone e passato su tutto il viso. Alpha H consiglia di non mettere altro per un'azione intensiva, oppure di far seguire i trattamenti abituali per un'azione più soft. Io faccio sempre seguire il mio olietto di Kiehl's perché questa lozione, contenendo acido, tende a seccare un pochino la mia pelle, soprattutto ora che siamo in inverno. Il mio consiglio è di seguire alla lettera le istruzioni perché, trattandosi di acido glicolico, se si esagera con le applicazioni si potrebbero verificare irritazioni. Io ho una pelle piuttosto sensibile e usandolo a sere alterne non ho avuto problemi. Quello che ho notato è un miglioramento generale della grana della mia pelle, della luminosità, i pori sono molto più ristretti e i segni dell'acne si schiariscono molto più velocemente, infatti ho già comprato la full size!
Every two evenings, after cleansing, I apply Liquid Gold (€ 24,80 100ml), a lotion which contains glycolic acid, silk proteins and licorice extract, whose action is to exfoliate and smooth the skin for a brighter complexion. I think this is their TOP product. It looks like a toner, you put it on a cotton pad and apply it all over the face and neck, but you have to be careful and follow the instructions (every two evenings) because glycolic acid could make your skin react. For an intensive treatment you can use it on its own, but I prefer to end my routine with my Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate (which is an oil) because Liquid Gold tends to dry a little bit my skin, especially now that it's winter. You could feel a tingle when you apply it, but that wasn't my case. I noticed a general improvement of the appearence of my skin, it's brighter, my pores are not so large anymore and my acne scars are fading very quickly. I already purchased the full size!
Infine, il mattino seguente, sempre dopo la detersione, applico la Daily Essential Moisturizer (€ 31,30 per 50ml su QVC). Si tratta di una crema idratante, anche questa a base di Aloe vera e vitamina E, con fattore di protezione 50. Non spaventatevi perché non è assolutamente pesante, come spesso sono i filtri solari elevati, ma si assorbe velocemente pur donando una buonissima idratazione ed è un'ottima base trucco. Anche di questa non vedo l'ora di ricomprare la full size per il prossimo inverno, per l'estate forse potrebbe essere troppo ricca, ma dovrei provarla con temperature più elevate per poter giudicare.
The morning after, after cleansing, I apply the Daily Essential Moisturizer (€ 31,30 50ml), an hydrating cream with aloe and vitamin E, with a SPF50. Don't be scared because it's not heavy at all (as often sunscreens are) but it absorbs quickly giving a very good level of hydration. It is also great under make up. I will definitely buy the full size for next winter beacuse maybe for summer it could be a little heavy.
Vi consiglio assolutamente questi prodotti che trovo adatti a tutti i tipi di pelle.
